Turbo Actuator and Nameplate Matching
BUYER CHECKLIST · UPDATED 6 NOVEMBER 2026
Start with the complete turbocharger
Garrett identifies turbochargers using nameplate information including part number, model and serial details. Copy the marked reference exactly; a housing casting mark alone is not that identification.
Photograph both labels
Collect sharp photographs of the turbo nameplate and actuator label. Add views of the connector face, mounting points, linkage and installed assembly.
Specify the scope of the offer
Keep the turbo reference, actuator reference and engine application in separate fields. Ask whether the quotation is for an actuator, a complete assembly or assessment work. Request the matching and setup requirements for that particular unit.
Prepare the enquiry
Send the references, engine or machine details, quantity, delivery destination and current fault description. Ask for current photographs of the actual proposed unit.
